The Christmas Hope of Isaiah
What a blessing it is to be able to celebrate the birth of Christ – the advent of our Savior! – during the Christmas season. Jesus’ birth was the glorious dawn of the promised hope to Israel and to the world. It was the dawn of hope to people in desperate need of it. “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.” (Isaiah 9:2) We praise God for the presence of Christ and the in-breaking light of His gospel!
